Surviving

Feeling the warmth of the sun on a cloudy day. A glimpse into a blind billy goat's unique, ever changing perspectives.

2014 04 29 Poetry: Invisible Touch April 29, 2014

Here we go again. It’s still National Poetry Month, so what else is there to do but post one more of my scattered poems.

If you like what you read, please come back again for a visit. Also, check out my books available which you can find out more about on my page, “About My Books”. The link to the page is at the top of this page you are on.

Thanks again for your support. I will continue to write and I will continue to live each day of my life as if it were a gift. After all, that’s why they call it, “The Present”, right?

Be well all and always remember, no matter where you go, there you are, so take advantage of it.

Invisible Touch

The sun is gone
The light is lost
The day is different
A brutal cost

Raise my hand
Nothing’s there
Step ahead
Pitch black stare

Echoed cries
A single tear
Empty soul
Endless fear

Visions gone
forgettable song
Incurable ill
Forever wrong

Blurred past
sightless gaze
Moonbeams lost
Foggy haze

Hidden whispers
Invisible touch
Misplaced memories
Loved so much
